Did you guys know that the first 1,000 days of a child is an integral part of their development? I was surprised when I attended the Children's First One Thousand Days Coalition (CFDC) launched last January 13, 2024, its operations manual and training program on how it will help in the government’s war against malnutrition.  Attending this event really opened my eyes in how important nutrition is for a child. Though I did grew up privileged enough that my parents were able to teach us why a balanced meal is important and also knowing the alternatives to food options to give us freedom to switch it up anytime we want.
