There is Definitely a New C in Town!

As once said, Prevention is better than cure that is why it is highly advisable in our current global health crisis that we take extra precautions to avoid getting sick.  Its no doubt that as part of the "new normal" most of us are advised to stay at home, wash our hands frequently using soap and water or sanitizers, wear protective equipment such as facemasks and face shield.  For Ms. Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, however, it is also very important that we take Vitamic C to be able to improve our immune system in combatting illnesses and infections that might cause us to get sick. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that cannot be produced by our body but we can get Vitamin C by the food that we eat such as fruits and vegetables, they are prominently known to be in high dosage in citrus fruits, strawberries, and kiwi.  As said by Catriona, Keeping a healthy lifestyle which start with a well-balanced diet to get the right amount of important nutrients and vitamins is importan

Slowly Rebuilding my Life

hey.  If this is your first time on my blog. Welcome! I have been away from blogging for about four or five years. Yes I did write a couple of articles from time to time but it was more of Press Releases that needed to be published but writing as a passion - like how it was suddenly disappeared. I honestly lost my love for blogging! I don't how I lost it but one day I just didn't felt like writing at all. I left my blog and my other one for quite a while. I did post some articles there but mainly because I did loved writing about food for some time.  I am currently trying to rebuild my life again. Its hard to be honest. Its hard to realize that four years have passed, and I missed a lot of opportunities to grow this blog. I started my whole journey here 10+ Years ago and one day I just decided to leave it. I think its time I tell you guys how I lost my passion from blogging. This might affect some people but I won't name anyone for their privacy. I still respect them but a

Comeback to Blogging again?

Hey.  Honestly I don't know how many times I have said I will be serious in blogging but time and time again I just revert to forgetting those and not write anything.  It honestly sucks. Because I felt like I have let you down. I should maintain this blog! I flippin changed the name for a reason!  The past few months, I have just been under so much stress, anxiety and bouts of depression that I wanted to quit social media. But then I remembered my happy place - blogging.  I promised to write and write until my brain tells me to stop and my hands start to bleed - not literally okay.  I won't promise anymore that I will be consistent because as of right now I am still trying to figure out everything again as it was the first time.  But here is the weird part, no matter how long I have not been writing my hands seem to just have a life of its own just start typing as if its excited to tell a friend of something she discovered. That's where I know that blogging really is my ha

Addressing Anxiety and Techniques to Reduce Anxiety

With our current situation, A lot of people are now experiencing anxiety more and more. To be honest, I have been feeling anxious more than ever with the amount of bills and dues that I have put myself into but of course life has to still go on and we need to find a way to lessen our anxiety about these trying times so here are some of the things I have done that worked.  WHAT IS ANXIETY? according to www.nhs.uk    Anxiety  is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe.   Honestly Anxiety manifests differently to everyone. I have been diagnosed with mild anxiety as well which can be manageable with some techniques to give yourself a better well being to lessen anxiety. Usually with moderate to severe cases of anxiety requires a lot more therapy and also medication.  How to your if you have one is quite easy - if you feel uneasy and its making you short of breath that's anxiety my friend. Overthinking of situations can also cause anxiety.  These are the

Its Not Goodbye Lloyd, but See You Later.

I was on my way home yesterday when I got a message that said 'patay na daw si Lloyd Cadena..true?' I stopped walking and felt that I was all alone walking. I felt my heart sank and immediately went to his social media page and I saw that message that was posted.  It can't be.  Impossible.  Like how?   I know what you are thinking - who are you to ask this? You were not even close to Lloyd Cafe Cadena. That is because I have been a long time follower of his content. I remember I started watching his LC Learns videos back in 2012. It was out of boredom and I like his wit and humor. You can call it a form of entertainment seeing him talk about different topics like school life, love advice and relatable instances we have with our life in the Philippines. He immediately captured an audience that hasn't been tapped at the time - Youtube audience. He was the first out of the handful Filipino vloggers that have stand out in the platform. I remembered when he first started,

Ola guys! This Valentine's season, Starmedia Entertainment and DSL Events and Production House, in association with Solaire Resort and Casino will bring back on stage the country's most iconic concert royalties, The Concert King, Martin Nievera and the Concert Queen, Pops Fernandez in Twogether Again. I do remember that these two have captured the hearts of so many people on and off stage. They are finally coming back together and bring seven spectacular shows this February 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 at The Theater at Solaire. I am honored to meet them for a small chikahan session at the West Avenue Suites last week and was able to know that they just came back from a successful 8-city US tour last August that was so successful that it was repeated last December which also garnered attention from their fans here in Manila. Both the king and queen of concert which have gained fame individually when they both hosted the famous TV Variety show "Penthouse Live!
