What do you see when the word SPA comes to mind?  To me the first thing that comes to mind if total relaxation and the luxury to throw away one's care to the world - for the moment of course. 

Happy Saturday!  I haven't been blogging again since I have been busy with things here at home and also with my Korean language studies..its hard to be student again! but its really nice.  So on today's post I will show you some of the new items I have been trying out recently. 

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Been enjoying my vacay...well sort of.  I am officially you could say unemployed.   It sucks I know but there are actually a lot of things I am planning up so I decided to jump off the workforce for a while. I will go back full time for sure but for now I will be focusing my time on my blog, youtube channel and with my family.  nuff' chit chat lets get on with today's post shall we?  A lot of people actually comment a lot on my skin since it looks perfect  daw - I partly believe it yet I disagree in a way. I believe because I maintain a good skin care regimen, but disagree because there is no such thing as a perfect skin.

According to statistics from the Department of Health (DOH), non-communicable diseases (NCDs) or lifestyle diseases such as heart attack or heart failure, stroke, and cancer are the top 3 leading causes of death among Filipinos. It is reported that more than 276 Filipinos die of heart diseases on a daily basis, 9 are diagnosed with cancer every hour, and 142 Filipinos die from it every day. Did you guys also know that at least one Filipino suffers from stroke every 9 minutes? For those that survived, they have a 75% chance of becoming permanently disabled. Numbers don’t lie. 

Last Friday, I was invited to watch a musical.  I was really interested in watching musicals because I was part of one a long time ago. I didn't really do anything but help out with production and make up then. I liked the feeling of seeing a piece of art come to life when you are part of its process.  Last Friday I came and watched Marco Polo: An Untold Love Story. 

I have started attending events about two or three years ago. Mind you my first event was actually a beauty party. And from then on I attended blogger events for the fun of it.  You can say I am a 'veteran' per say but not really because of my weekday work schedule. But I have still been asked about certain things like what do you do on events and how do you act in it? There are different kinds of events and there is no specific guideline because you just have to go with the flow. But its still best to have some key pointers in attending events - just in case.

I don't have a lot of peach lipsticks - matte peach lipsticks to be exact so I was really happy when I got this Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick in Just Peachy last December.  I have been reading/watching/hearing a lot of raves about this wet n wild long lasting lipstick. So I was excited to try it. I have tried this product out but only for a limited time. I will be using this product more for sure so I could make a thorough review towards it.  The lipstick is really matte and super pigmented. I kinda looked pale when I first applied it to my lips but if I apply some blush it actually compliments my skin more. Its hard to be very fair skinned I tell you!  And if you can see on my swatch since it is very matte it has also highlighted the crevices of my wrist haha! but if you apply it to the lips make sure to exfoliate your lips and apply some lip balm first so you wont have dry looking lips with these.  That's it for today's first impressions thoug

I remembered a couple of years back I was drooling over (not literally) NYX products since they were not available here. I was thankful they are available now since they opened a store here in Manila!  But alas I haven't bought one when they first opened because 1.) Its a tough job but I like doing it.  So for today's product feature I will be telling you what I think about Rimmel's Cool Touch Shadow.  I actually got this from Joyce Sola's Birthday loot bag and I was really surprised how many stuff it has. I will be featuring them here soon so make sure to check back ok?  Basically the job of this product is to be an eye shadow or a base for your make up look - simple as that.  I got the shade 084 cool babe. The shade is a bronze shade that would be perfect if you want to achieve that sun kissed greek goddess make up.  The product is in liquid form so make sure to shake the product prior to using it. The packaging is a squeeze tube which was good since you can control how much product to dispense. If you want to know only about half a pea size is enough for both my lids when I use them as base. Do you have that  lip product that makes you feel sexy? For me there is - Victoria's Secret Lip gloss in Yearning. I don't know why but I really like this lip gloss and truth be told I am not a lip gloss girl.  I actually got this when Dang of Yellow Apple store on Instagram sent me a loot bag of goodies. I was immediately drawn in this product mainly because of the color. The shade that I got is yearning. You can check the website if they still have this shade. I believe there is already a victoria secret outlet here in the Philippines but I'm not sure if they have this product line.  The product has a doe applicator which is good but I would suggest not sharing this lip product with any one.   If you girls know, Victoria's Secret mostly exude the glamorous bombshell image. But for now let's go to our product review for today.  Glory of New York's Lip liner!  If you want your lipstick to last longer, I suggest to apply a lip liner similar to the shade of your lipstick - this comes especially handy when you are wearing red lipstick since the lip liner will prevent the lipstick to bleed and smear all over your face.
