Hey Guys!!  I should have done this post as soon as I can but because of my schedule I completely forgot!  And if ever any ADDLIB members or supporters read this please don't hate me I'm only human too, but at least I made the post right?  I am being unreasonable again I'm sorry.  So last May 11 I was really fortunate to watch the dance recital of ADDLIB's The LAB 3. This was actually the first recital they had and I am so thankful to see one of their first recitals ever~! I've actually followed their dance sessions on Facebook and I've see a lot of potential in the participants. One of my friend is part of the workshop which really made me more proud.  Their recital was held at SM Skydome which is actually a great venue because it gives a great view of their performance at any angle. The sound also at Skydome is really nice.  The event was not just a recital but a dance concert of ADDLIB to showcase their #PHiersness

Okay so here goes.  I was really honored to attend this event by one of the institutions of beauty in the Philippines.  I grew up with a mother that does make up to a lot of women on a daily basis. The sheer thought of meeting one of the people that my mom looks up is really an opportunity of a lifetime.  Mader Ricky thought of this event as a way of a personally teaching the candidates ways to know how to look beautiful even without a stylist.  Here are some of the tips that I've remembered.  TIP #1 NEVER leave the house without make up and stilettos.  This one is pretty basic because as a beauty queen you really do have to looked all made up all the time. I think that this is purely as a basis to know that you can be beautiful anytime of the day.  TIP #2 The hair and dress should also sway.  Natural flowy hair that sways with the hair is beautiful - The 'walis tambo'

Usually I spend about 10 hours outside of the house everyday - From commuting to and from work, attending events and other things like a night out to unwind. Hello ladies!  Do you ever have that time that you don't know what to do with your make up so it matches your outfit?  Here are some tips I could give out.  I'll be using Ever Bilena's Shade lipstick as an example to these looks ok?  Lets start with a simple look with a pop of color. With this kind of outfit I would suggest go with a pink lipstick like Rosy Mirage or Pink temptress and an over all clean no-make up like look. This gives the look a very clean yet stricking image. Also It doesn't have too much impact to the face.  If you have a penchant for monochromatic looks like this one I suggest go for a pop of color. Use a bright red or an orange red lipstick to make the face stand out. Hey guys!  I don't really post anything of this kind in a long time because..well I don't know exactly but when something makes me cringe that I just have to write it down before I would puke.  Yes guys I'm serious.  I found this picture on my Facebook news feed. One of my acquaintances slashed her wrists and decided to take a picture of it. Here is just the only question that came to my mind:  WHY IN THE LOVE OF GOD WOULD YOU DO THAT?! I was also a teenager. I also went through the phase of being overly emotional about things - especially about love. I admit that I have thought to slashing my wrists too and also committing suicide but I thought about it and the only thing that came to my mind is how stupid of an idea it would be.  Self harm is not just a phase - that means something is wrong with that person. Due to the sweltering ( NAKS! Big Word! ) heat of the sun nowadays most of the time I wear little to now make up.  LIKE SERIOUSLY who would wear a whole layer of make up if you would be out in the sun? I wouldn't!  But still I want to look good in which I only have 3 things in my bag that I can live by:  Powder, Blush, and lipstick.  One of the things that are most important to me is blush-because I look like a ghost without one. I have been told myriads of times these lines  "nakainom ka ng suka no?"  "anyare teh nakakita lang ng multo?"  "may anemia ka ata friend." That is why I always keep a blush on in my bag just in case I am looking ghostly as ever.  The blush that I do keep in my bag at all times is Careline's Oil control blush on.
