I honestly didn't know that make up was not allowed during pregnancy because I have not experienced being pregnant.

I've researched some things that pregnant women can do to still look gorgeous even if they are carrying a kid inside their bellies!
Lets start with skincare.
If you take oral antibiotics for your acne problems, I'm really sorry but you have to stop taking those because it can cause defect on your baby. You can ask for a prescription of Oral erythromycin. Erythromycin is considered the safest to use for pregnant women. But this one is only for severe inflammation.
salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide is not to be advised to be used as often as possible. But if you would want to dry out a pimple now then just dab on some benzoyl peroxide.
If you have no major skin problems you can just cleanse with a mild cleanser like cetaphil and a light moisturizer.
Sunblock is a must even when you are pregnant. But one thing you need to remember is to look for sunblocks that contains transparent zonc oxide or titanium oxide.
Lastly, if you have skin conditions whether its acne you need to inform your dermatologist that you are pregnant so your dermatologist will know what treatments are good for you and also check with your obstetrician with your dermatologist's prescription.
Now Let's go to make up.
basically there is no specific things that you need to worry when you want to apply make up during pregnancy. Just remember that you need to cover up hyper pigmentation.
Concealer will be your best friend at these times. Also remember that less is more since you are pregnant. I suggest going for a more natural look. A good concealer, powder, blush and lipstick is okay since you will have that glow due to pregnancy.
I hope this tips can help you with your kikay side even if you are pregnant.
Much Love!
Alice
