The Philippines only has 2 seasons - Monsoon and Summer season. And since the weather is getting hotter so does the fashion trends.  With Rich purples, fiery reds, hot pink, lime, orange and warm yellows with some soft brown and creamy neutrals a lot of fashionistas are feeling more adventurous than ever this summer.  As Fisher Department store launches their summer collection lines you can see a strong Moroccan influence into it. Moroccan style is highly influence a lot of the collection with its bold sophisticated and exquisite style similar to the elaborate mosaic patterns seen throughout.  And also with the bohemian/festival trend being popular, its fairly easy to get key pieces you will like at Fisher Department Store. 

Sidenote:  Internet connection lately has been awry so this post was really really really late. But still I will be uploading new articles soon so please understand -_- I deeply apologize again.  Belly dancing is one of those dances that would amaze you because the body is like water when you see it move.  I am not a dancer in any way although I did try to be a ballerina when I was younger. So trying a new form of dance is something I can check off my list.  The simple get together was held at Footworks Dance Studio. I was a bit late since most of the girls have done the pep talk and the initial stretching has started.  Did I tell you guys that stretching is one of the most basic things you need to do in any form of dance and belly dancing hs more focused on the area that is not highlighted on other dances which is our core area. So imagine the horror in my face doing those stretching positions but luckily I pulled through haha! ...

I like listening to EDM but I'm never the kind that actually go to a club a lot because sometimes I prefer to dance it out on my own. I'm weird like that.  But I actually did not pass this opportunity because its better if I try it once right? So here are some of the things that you can expect on an EDM party at the beach.

First of all I would like to share how I started my summer - with Dip! DIP is an electronic dance pool party that was held at Great Western Hotel at Makati. It was a pool party that is also filled with surprises for the attendees. At 500 pesos it is inclusive with three complimentary tickets while if you availed the table for 5,000php good for 8 pax you get a free bottle, mixers and food platter. One of the surprises is they gave away airfare tickets to any domestic destination in the Philippines courtesy of AirAsia Philippines! As the Summer season begins so thus more institutions that bring more activities for children to hone their skills this summer season.  In line with its thrust this year to make it fresh by bringing the program to more schools and communities nationwide, Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA presented by Alaska conducted a series of free open clinics last weekend in different parts of the Philippines.  Two sessions of clinics were conducted in all venues -- one at 9-11 a.m. and another from 1-4 p.m.  Jeffrey Cariaso, the basketball Director for the Alaska Power Camp and Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA coaches led in helping the next generation of young and aspiring basketball players realize their dreams. Other coaches who conducted the learning sessions include PBA Legends Rodney Santos, Eric de la Cuesta and Topex Robinson, and Perlas Pilipinas national players Melissa Jacob, Ish Tiu, MJ Galicia and Justine Formata.  I was able to see it in action last Sun...

Due to the sweltering ( NAKS! Big Word! ) heat of the sun nowadays most of the time I wear little to now make up.  LIKE SERIOUSLY who would wear a whole layer of make up if you would be out in the sun? I wouldn't!  But still I want to look good in which I only have 3 things in my bag that I can live by:  Powder, Blush, and lipstick.  One of the things that are most important to me is blush-because I look like a ghost without one. I have been told myriads of times these lines  "nakainom ka ng suka no?"  "anyare teh nakakita lang ng multo?"  "may anemia ka ata friend." That is why I always keep a blush on in my bag just in case I am looking ghostly as ever.  The blush that I do keep in my bag at all times is Careline's Oil control blush on. Summer is just around the corner - slash that - Summer is ALREADY here!  I love summer mainly because the weather may be too hot to handle which is a perfect excuse to go to the beach!  I love the beach and I am so ready for it! Body wise, its still not halfway ready but who cares right? I will get there soon so mark the date and pictures that I will share once that I achieve that sexy body!  But aside from getting your body ready, it would be much better to get your skin ready for summer. Especially with the Philippine heat you will surely have to get it ready so you won't get sun burned like what I had last year.  Here are some ways you can get your skin summer ready.

Happy Friday ladies!  I am back to work today, ironic isn't it? since I just came from a staycation? haha! but nonetheless I love to be back to work!  On today's post will be about the 3rd look I've come up with the Urban Decay Book of Shadows vol 4. I was mainly inspired with this look because I am really excited for summer. I love summer the most although its such a drag sometimes when it is too hot.

Happy Monday Ladies!  Summer is one season that I am really excited since I can go to the beach and I have the perfect excuse to wear shorts again haha!  The heat has been unbearable and I think everyone can agree to that especially if you are here in the Philippines. Cooling off this summer won't have to be a struggle if you are losing weight since there is a lot of things we can do to still shed the pounds while cooling off. 

I like summer and the heat because its a perfect way to have a pool party! If you want to have a great summer pool party on April 28 dress up in your best summer outfit and have a great time at Manila Ocean Park's AQUA.

Ola ladies!  I am back for the fashion version of the Spring and Summer trends this 2012! I am not really a fashionista but I do know what looks good and I have tried these trends and I think these are great to pull off this season!  Let’s get started shall we?

Ola ladies!  I am back with another trend report! This trend report will be about make up first, I'll do another post about fashion okay? ^^, Spring and Summer are those times of the year that wouldn't really require you to pile up on make up since you would be out in the sun all the time and your make up will just melt away. And also during this time of the year you can just go natural or for a 'fresh' look. 

Out of the two seasons here in the Philippines, I would prefer summer over the monsoon season, why you ask? Well that is because during summer I will be able to do a lot of things like go on a vacation with my friends and family without worrying about the weather.
