Zen Institute Introduces Weight Management Programs for a Health-conscious people

Image
Zen Institute is one of the institutes that really make their patrons beautiful and healthy with their myriads of weight managements programs.  Recently, they introduced a new way of reducing the fats but still in a healthy way that I was able to try a bit. One of the innovations that its owner, founder and head doctor Dr. Mary Jane "MJ" Torres introduced is a more holistic approach.  And this includes a carefully monitored but non-invasive treatments that is also supported by nutritional counselling, workout regiment, colon cleansing and intravenous (IV) micronutrition.  The first step is the Colon Hydrotherapy or also known as Colonics. It is a procedure to help cleanse the colon without a surgical approach in cleaning out the toxins in our system. This said therapy lasts about an hour in which about 25 liters of water is inserted to the body.  I have done a similar procedure before and its actually great to do if you don't eat much vegetable...

Image
Happy Tuesday ladies!  One of the things I really want to achieve for Summer is to be able to wear a swimsuit.  I admit that one of my insecurities is my weight since I have been fat for the longest time, but I am doing my best to lose the excess weight to any healthy and non invasive means as possible. Thankfully, I was able to avail Bioessence's Beginner's Slimming Program last March which is a perfect opportunity since I will be having an annual outing with my team mates. I still have a few sessions left in which I will try to schedule that soon. The Beginner's Slimming Program is mainly recommended to their clients who are looking forward to a slimmer, firmer and more toned body. This is especially great for summer! The session includes two sessions each of the following: Liposome Detox Treatment, Vibratrim, and Faradic. There is also an added Sauna session in every visit.  The Program is divided into three stages: Detoxifycation,...

I have a confession to make...I AM FAT

Image
I admit to myself that I am on the "bigger size" for some time now. but I think now is the time to face the reality that I AM FAT. I haven't actually weighed myself in over 3 months for the fact that I'm far too scared of accepting I'm fat. I've heard the phrases that "I think you should start eating less now" and all those other stuff and I have just put them aside because I am used to them. I just got the shock of my life when I saw recent pictures of me from our outing and saw the horrible truth. I'll show you pictures of what I looked 2 years before wearing the same sarong and the latest one. see the difference? I really need to lose weight! When I saw these pictures I was so de-moralized and had to face the fact that I have gained some weight. I had a previous post when I said that I have been doing the "half cup rice routine" and also my routine of walking from the MRT to my office, but I think its not enough. Honestly speaking, I...

drinks that can calm you down :)

Are you Stressed ? Burned out ? Wanna scream but can't seem to know how? I know how you feel, especially if you work in a very intense environment, for example, a call center. With reports due, presentations needed to be passed, demanding boss and so many stress factors this article can help you lower that stress level you have with just choosing from this five concoctions. 1. A glass of milk . milk contains tryptophan which converts to serotonin, a substance that basically boosts our moods. Milk also has calcium, magnesium and potassium to keep our blood pressure down. I suggest this if you have mood swings before or during your period girls. 2. Hot coco / Hot chocolate . warm drinks actually makes us associate it with comfort and also relaxation. This is perfect once you get home after a stressful day at work. 3. Black tea . Black tea actually lowers our stress hormone. So the next time you want to lower your stress level don't order coffee in your local coffee shop, order bl...

yoga....a way to healthy living

Image
Since the start of 2011, I have been doing something in making my life healthier. I have started in eating better, thus the dreaded "half cup rice" rule was implemented for me at my house. That rule has actually given me some good results. Another change I was doing is being on the move more. Typically, I would not walk from MRT to my office, but now I would take the FX when I think I am running late. Not only I regained my stamina, I can also save at least 100 pesos a week for not riding the FX to my office! :) I have been thinking of giving this a shot when I saw my gay friend after a few months that we have not seen each other. He looks FAB! unfortunately I can't show you girls a picture of him. He said Yoga made him healthier. That suddenly gave me an idea... I'm actually undecided whether or not I'll go through with this. I've actually heard this is really good for you since it will not only make your body leaner but also you will have a more peaceful mi...
