Photoescape Reviews: Avon's Far Away Aurora
And we are back with a review! This actually has been one of my perfume when I was working in my last office job. Honestly I got tons of feedback on this because it just smells so good.
I actually just bought this because of the bottle HAHAH!
This is a complete blind buy that I do not regret so I will share my thoughts with you on this.
If you know Avon has a lot of perfume line and definitely the Far Away line is a long standing collection that I do look forward when they release new scents.
Based on Fragnantica.com Far Away Aurora by Avon is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women. Far Away Aurora was launched in 2021.
Its Top notes are Cardamom, Italian Lemon and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Yogurt, Water Lily and Rose; Base notes are Bourbon Vanilla, Cedar and Vetiver.
If I can describe the scent, its initial spray is like a lemony yogurt which dries down to a very subtle rich vanilla. Honestly its ethereal and very classy. Its not too harsh on the nose when you over spray.
This perfume does have a minimal silage to it so its not overwhelming to use. Though I noticed that when I used it during summer it kind of had a sour scent, probably from my perspiration and the heat since I was outside majority of the time.
Longevity is good and it does last the whole shift. I do remember that the perfume lasts even if I put it in the hamper for laundry.
If you can ask me what age group this would be fit for I would suggest for 25 to 40s. The reason for that is some of the notes in this perfume isn't something I recommend for teens. This is more into the realm of a sophisticated woman which is great to wear.
Weather wise, I won't recommend this to be worn at the gym or when exposed to hot and humid weather. This is fitted for colder climates and for office use.
Would I repurchase this? Probably not since I am not working at the moment and its not really the kind of scent that fits my vibe but its definitely worth the try.
Have you tried this perfume too? Share your thoughts below and I'll see you soon
Much love!
xx Alice
