How Do You Start Over again?

Image
There would be times where I just don't know if I am doing the right things in my life because sometimes the outlook is just not looking great.  I had this thought a couple of months back when I was going to be endorsed on production to take calls in my current company where I was like 'Is this really the right decision for me?' 'Are we sure about this?' those questions kept going over and over in my head as the days go on and as I take more calls.  And I think I made a right decision. Its been about 6 months since that time and I have never felt more secured with what I decided.  Another factor that made me go and pursue this path is because I am not getting any younger. I admit, I chased a dream wherein I am not really sure if I am destined for it. I haven't given up on blogging and content creation but I can honestly say that its more than views and clicks for me now. It has become a way for me to express myself and help people come out of their shell too. S...

Secrets to Keeping your Sanity in a Crazy World Book Review

When Covid-19 first hit I thought it was just going to be like a couple of months that we'll be locked into our homes and try to stay away from getting infected - and here we are at the 2nd Christmas with a new variant slowly emerging from other countries, and we are starting to rebuild our lives again- insert *dun dun DUUUUUUN* sound effects.  And to be very honest, I randomly ask myself these questions: How do I maintain my sanity in this world? Do I need another mini breakdown for the day to survive? How do I live 'normally' in a time where people wear face mask, hose ourselves down with alcohol and a stressful work environment but now we moved it in the four walls of our home office?  And luckily I was able to find a book that was able to keep my sanity in check and know more ways to be able not to lose my marbles if ever a new lockdown might loom in my path.  Secrets to Keeping your sanity in a Crazy World is written by Corazon Walata-Austria. A Human Resources...

JOE & THE ANCHOR RELEASES POWERFUL PIANO BALLAD ‘LEAVING YOU NOW’

Image
As Filipinos, we dedicate songs to some memories - DON’T DENY THIS! may it be a good or bad memory we have a specific song that is connected to that. One song that I have heard recently definitely pulled or might I say tugged on some major arteries and it’s title is Leaving You Now by Indie-pop band Joe and The Anchor.  It’s a piano ballad that is fitted since an emotional break-up song about experiencing first love, growing apart and realizing there is nothing left in the relationship worth fighting for.  And boy do I tell you I cried because it transported me to THAT time in my 20’s where I invested so much of my love but in the end I decided to let go.  Joakim’s powerful yet emotional voice really emitted in this song.  I am really fortunate to be able to meet the band a couple of days ago at a virtual meet and greet. I was also able to know more about their music, inspirations and a little chit chat about how life has been with them.  One of the coolest tr...

Run Free My Sweet Rocky

Image
Honestly the last time I felt this much pain from a loss was a decade ago- and last Monday it came back.  I wasn't able to introduce Rocky on my blog formally because..well..I did that on my youtube channel. I should've done that honestly because Rocky has made a huge impact on my life that I wasn't able to share to anyone.

Happy Birthday Nikko!

Meet Nikko - my first born.  We also call him Nik-Nik, Nikkolite, Nikoekoeko, Nikkoya and other names we make up haha! Yes you heard that! Nikko is my first born child and today is his birthday! He is now 4 years old and I would just like to share why I love this dog so much.  I have always loved dogs, but I have usually gotten big dogs since my mama prefers them to be protectors of our house. But one day my brother messaged me about a yorkie and if our mom would like to have one. Of couse she was against having Nikko because she doesn't need a small dog who won't protect her. But I sure do so I said yes and we got him the following Saturday.  The first time I saw Nikko I immediately felt that connection with him. He clung to my arms when I lifted him up from the crate he was put in by his previous owner and I cradled him and said hello my child. I may have looked weird then for sure.  I never really expected to love small breed dogs, but this weirdo is different - h...
