BIG CHANGES

Hey guys! 

I know its been a while since I've written something here and I know IT SUCKS. 

I actually missed writing on my blog because its a form of therapy for me but after EVERYTHING that had happened I just decided to stop for a while because I didn't felt comfortable and just wanted to step away from the blogging world. 

And I've decided to come back. 

But why though? 

Because now I feel more at ease with myself. And also I've finally decided the path I want to take in this platform. 

Before I would always had articles written for brands and companies which to be honest I wasn't that comfortable in talking about so I just decided to make this blog my sanctuary where I can write my feelings, experiences and not have deadlines from brands. 

To be honest, there isn't really anything wrong about that, but if the only reason I'm writing is about a brand I would choose not to write at all. I will still be making reviews and other articles that I love to share to all of you.

So I'm making a big change in this blog. 

Instead of my moniker photoescape I'll be changing it to my real name - Alice Mate.

Its a decision I've been thinking for a while and I think this is the best time to do it. 

I do need to start from square one but that is actually better than sticking to a monicker...right? 

I want this page to be more than just a lifestyle based blog but moreover a LIFE-style blog. Something I would proudly show everyone who the writer is, not just a side of myself on the internet. 

So if you are new here - Hi, my name is Alice and welcome to my blog.

I'll be doing small changes in the next few days so please forgive the messiness since I'm still trying to get used to all the editing and filtering from this part on. But I hope you stay along for the journey.

My addictions: My cute yet ferocious dog named John

Shocking isn't it? haha!  Let me introduce to you my dog named John. Believe it or not he had a brother named Lloyd... get it John and Lloyd. Blame my mom for their names LOL But besides from that he is one peculiar kind of dog. He has a mannerism to act adorable one minute but turn annoying after another.  He has been with us for like 5 years or longer. He is a mix of Labrador and Pitbull.  I took that photo a couple of days ago when I was in a trigger happy mode. I took pictures of my niece and my nephew, our newly renovated house and of course my pets. I was actually asking him to look at me and when he did he suddenly yawn. And that is how I had that shot.  He is actually a really nice dog, he is a bit territorial but most dogs are like that. He actually likes my Labrador Retriever named Georgia. Product Review: iColor Hair Dye Shampoo

Hello lovelies!  Since the start of the year I told myself I will change my looks more and test things since I am not getting any younger so experimenting would definitely be on top of my list.  With that I've actually started with my hair. I have already gone blonde although that was a little hard to maintain since I remember being told to go back after a number of weeks to have my roots done but never seem to do it because  1. The salon I got it done was quite far from my place.  2. Its still expensive 3. It would damage my hair tremendously I still have qualms about getting my hair colored again professionally so I asked my mom if its much better if I color it myself - she said yes but gave me the low down on the things I have to do...remembering all those information was a toughie but I was able to get a simpler solution with it - this hair dye shampoo~  My mom discovered this actually and asked me to try it on my hair since she knows I need to cove
