Social Media Weekend 2013



Hello dear lovelies! I know this post is kinda late so please forgive me..

Last Saturday, I was able to attend the Social Media Weekend 2013 in glorietta. The main purpose of this is to celebrate the help of social media to the world. 

Social media is basically the online community that we are part of. It can be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Youtube, Blogs and other social media networks! 


Social Media as a form of sharing information to the public is a bit new here in the Philippines but it has definitely expanded a lot. Social Media is more direct since its being shared by millions worldwide. Social media can also be key to disseminate key information that we need.

June 30 is known internationally as Social Media Day and is celebrated by netizens all around the world. And with Philippines cited as the #socialmediacapital of the world, Tweetup Manila – a group of enthusiasts who share a passion for social media and who were instrumental in the successful mounting of the first social media day in the country last year which had over 500 netizens, social media influencers and personalities in attendance –raises the bar and doubles the excitement by mounting the first Nationwide Social Media Weekend in the Philippines.

There were actually a lot of talks from the participating brands such as Google, Instagram Manila, and also a performance of ROM COM. 

The event was quite exciting when it also came into some games where in Zomato.com and Globe gave out prizes. Too bad I didn't win #huhu. 

But the event was AWESOME. If ever I would have the chance I will attend it again. I was able to chat with some of the participating brands such as Muni PH, Instaprint, and Zomato.com. 

I will do another post about these brands but for now enjoy some pictures I took on the event.

My addictions: My cute yet ferocious dog named John

Shocking isn't it? haha!  Let me introduce to you my dog named John. Believe it or not he had a brother named Lloyd... get it John and Lloyd. Blame my mom for their names LOL But besides from that he is one peculiar kind of dog. He has a mannerism to act adorable one minute but turn annoying after another.  He has been with us for like 5 years or longer. Product Review: iColor Hair Dye Shampoo

Hello lovelies!  Since the start of the year I told myself I will change my looks more and test things since I am not getting any younger so experimenting would definitely be on top of my list.  With that I've actually started with my hair. I have already gone blonde although that was a little hard to maintain since I remember being told to go back after a number of weeks to have my roots done but never seem to do it because  1. The salon I got it done was quite far from my place.  2. Its still expensive 3. It would damage my hair tremendously I still have qualms about getting my hair colored again professionally so I asked my mom if its much better if I color it myself - she said yes but gave me the low down on the things I have to do...remembering all those information was a toughie but I was able to get a simpler solution with it - this hair dye shampoo~  My mom discovered this actually and asked me to try it on my hair since she knows I need to cove
