Make up 101: Color of 2013... Emerald!

 



Hello ladies! How is your Wednesday so far? I hope you are all doing well. As for me...let's just say I am not feeling the weather here at work. I feel really lazy for some reason but I do hope that you are not feeling the same way.

Oh by the way today is 12.12.12? This is the last time we will have a 12.12.12 If there will be another one it will be in another millennium though. So I hope you are having a good 12.12.12 so far! 

And since its Wednesday I would like to share to you girls this special Make up 101 Wednesday treat.


The color of the year is..... EMERALD GREEN!

 According to the Pantone Color Institute, this color symbolizes well being. Being a vivid verdant green shade its an easy color to pull off. 


I've already shot some looks with this color that I will be posting soon here. And from experience, I really really love this color since its great for all skin colors. This is also great since the color is not too bright which is great for office wear to add a pop of color to your corporate outfit.

2012's color is actually tangerine tango which I have been seeing a lot this year but if given the choice, I like emerald green more.

Shocking isn't it? haha!  Let me introduce to you my dog named John. Believe it or not he had a brother named Lloyd... get it John and Lloyd. Blame my mom for their names LOL But besides from that he is one peculiar kind of dog. He has a mannerism to act adorable one minute but turn annoying after another.  He has been with us for like 5 years or longer. He is a mix of Labrador and Pitbull.  I took that photo a couple of days ago when I was in a trigger happy mode. I took pictures of my niece and my nephew, our newly renovated house and of course my pets. I was actually asking him to look at me and when he did he suddenly yawn. And that is how I had that shot.  He is actually a really nice dog, he is a bit territorial but most dogs are like that. He actually likes my Labrador Retriever named Georgia. Product Review: iColor Hair Dye Shampoo

Hello lovelies!  Since the start of the year I told myself I will change my looks more and test things since I am not getting any younger so experimenting would definitely be on top of my list.  With that I've actually started with my hair. I have already gone blonde although that was a little hard to maintain since I remember being told to go back after a number of weeks to have my roots done but never seem to do it because  1. The salon I got it done was quite far from my place.  2. Its still expensive 3. It would damage my hair tremendously I still have qualms about getting my hair colored again professionally so I asked my mom if its much better if I color it myself - she said yes but gave me the low down on the things I have to do...remembering all those information was a toughie but I was able to get a simpler solution with it - this hair dye shampoo~  My mom discovered this actually and asked me to try it on my hair since she knows I need to cove
