CATWALKING ON WATER: Filipino designer to join J Summer Fashion Phenomenon on the Seine, Paris



Today is a very happy moment to celebrate how Filipino fashion designers are now taking over the fashion scene. 

Global fashion show organizer and model Jessica Minh Anh has picked Filipino designer Joyce Peñas Pilarsky to join eight other creative fashion houses from USA, UAE, France, Austria, Spain, Poland, Malaysia, and Vietnam at the international J Summer Fashion Show this July 30 2012 on the Seine, Paris.
The high profile event is part of a series of history making showcases organised by J Model Management, with two previous international success being the world’s highest fashion show that was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the first ever fashion phenomenon on England’s iconic Tower Bridge. 


The grand 60 metre long catwalk will be held on none other than the river’s giant glass boat, Le Jean Bruel, that will cruise through Paris' hot spots including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre, and The Grand Palais des Champs Elysees. It will showcase its extraordinary collections from four continents and welcomes influential faces from various industries, ambassadors from fifteen countries, and the most celebrated international press, the show is expected to set yet another milestone in the fashion world for sure.

With a vision of developing a whole new fashion show experience, Jessica Minh Anh creates the illusion that the models are walking on water, by arranging the guests to sit facing the multi-facetted glass windows surrounding Le Jean Bruel. Thanks to the 360 degree view of the boat, the world’s architectural masterpieces along the Seine and the 37 bridges will become a natural backdrop for the grand catwalk.

The J Summer Fashion Show will start at 7:30pm on the 30th July 2012 with a glamorous VIP entrance before the highly expected one hour catwalk, and end with a press conference and an exclusive two hour VIP networking party.  The show is supported by Serge Louis Alvarez Paris, Club Med Gym Paris, Fraser Suites Le Claridge Champs Elysées, Les Folies De, and Jean Marc Maniatis at Galeries Lafayette among any others.

Shocking isn't it? haha!  Let me introduce to you my dog named John. Believe it or not he had a brother named Lloyd... get it John and Lloyd. Product Review: iColor Hair Dye Shampoo

Hello lovelies!  Since the start of the year I told myself I will change my looks more and test things since I am not getting any younger so experimenting would definitely be on top of my list.  With that I've actually started with my hair. I have already gone blonde although that was a little hard to maintain since I remember being told to go back after a number of weeks to have my roots done but never seem to do it because  1. The salon I got it done was quite far from my place.  2. Its still expensive 3. It would damage my hair tremendously I still have qualms about getting my hair colored again professionally so I asked my mom if its much better if I color it myself - she said yes but gave me the low down on the things I have to do...remembering all those information was a toughie but I was able to get a simpler solution with it - this hair dye shampoo~  My mom discovered this actually and asked me to try it on my hair since she knows I need to cove
