Zen Institute: Creating a Masterpiece of Beauty

Happy Wednesday ladies!

How is your Wednesday so far? For me its a scorching one! Is summer really here? I can't believe it! and in a way of saying it

kakalerkey nakakawala ng poise! (sorry the bekigirl got out again.)

But enough about that have you ever wondered how a masterpiece is created? One that is the finest example of beauty, elegance and sophistication?

Take the reigning 2012 Miss Tourism International Rizzini Alexis Gomez for example. This lady of 22 - year - old, 5 feet and 10 inch statuesque stunner which is also a Cum Laude in Nursing from the University of Cebu have so much with her going on since she won the Miss Tourism International. Its no overnight sensation I tell you, it also take hard work, determination, and lots of prayers to do so.

According to Rizzini, joining beauty contests- like any contests is no simple walk in the park. She admittedly said that she had failed to win previous contests but eventually won the Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism 2012 crown and has earned a ticket to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for the Miss Tourism International. But even though she won this didn't stop her to immediately go back to work.

While preparing for the said contest, She follows a strict regimen, which mainly involves developing her stamina since beauty pageants are mostly full of physical activities for its contestants. For her daily exercise she swims and walks a lot - she even plays basketball with her dad, Roehl Gomez, who was a former PBA professional player and now her alma mater's basketball team coach.

As for her diet, contrary to popular belief, Rizzi eat what she wants to eat, but you have to also compensate with burning it with workout which is usually 4 times a week. Also she eats protein-rich food and lots of vegetables.

In preparation with the pageant emotionally, Rizzini enjoys reading paranormal, romance, fantasy or adventures genres helps her in calming herself before the competition and also as a way to relax.

The most important for this beauty queen is praying hard. Being brought up in a very religious family taught her guidance and wisdom from God in everything that she does.

There is also the preparation for her skin in which it is insisted that being in a beauty pageant requires you a degree of taking care of your skin more.

"I have problems with acne breakouts, probably because I have oily skin. And surely these problems need medical assistance."

Her solution for this is getting the help of Dr. Mary Jane "Dr. MJ" Torres, who runs the Zen Institute, a premier medical spa in the Metro which is located in Bonifacio Global City.

Rizzini was lucky enough to won treatment packages as part of her Mutya prizes which she truly enjoys as she goes there regularly.

According to Rizzini that true beauty truly comes from within but she is also glad to have known the Zen Institute, where they helped with her skin problems such as acne and oiliness. She also says that going to Zen made her more confident in showing true Filipina beauty - inside and out.

As to Rizzini's future endeavors, she said that once her reign ends she plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Nursing or maybe even go to Law school. But of course as much as she wants to achieve them, she leaves everything for God to decide in which she will follow what is really meant for her.

Rizzini is really a great example of a wonderful masterpiece. She lives a healthy balanced lifestyle with a positive attitude. At this early stage in her career, she surely knows a balance between mind and body. Of course it is our duty to take care of our self not just outside but inside as well. Rizzini is truly an example of Zen Institute's guiding philosophy which is a beauty 'perfected from within'
