Kpop Friday: SNSD's I Got A Boy

Hello ladies! I know this post is late again.. ugh! I was swamped with work and other things today so that is why this is really late.. mianhe.. 

So on today's Kpop Friday post will be about SNSD's new song entitled 'I got a boy'.  

I was initially curious about this since one of my previous student showed me her dance cover of it. And I was like "is this for real?" Quite honestly I was confused since I wasn't able to understand of the things that they said because of the rap part and since my Korean is not that good yet. 

This side of SNSD is quite shocking but refreshing at the same time since this group would either show their cute side or sexy side. In this song though shows their edginess ..did I spell that correctly? LOL 

Their looks in this video is still quite similar to their previous ones although the outfits are different, you'd notice how their make is just the same. I have seen a lot of SNSD MVs that why. Most of their looks really consists of bejeweled eyes and eyelashes and pink lipstick! 

Getting to the song is quite confusing since its a mix of hip hop and pop. I think this is a first for SNSD, but I like the chorus since its really catchy and the tune would get stuck in your head... LSS anyone? 

But if you check the lyrics, you would actually have a knowledge that it consists of a 3rd person point of view and also the girl's point of view in the song. Its quite confusing but if you listen for at least a couple of times, you would have an idea of the song for sure.
