Guest Post: Organic Makeup Creates Gorgeous Beauty

A couple of days ago I was emailed by Jackie Clark, a contributor/researcher at mesothelioma.com to ask if she can do a guest post on my blog and I agreed to her idea since we share some passions in life. 


Mesothelioma.com is a web resource for Mesothelioma cancer.  It is a rare form of cancer that develops from transformed cells originating in the mesothelium, the protective lining that covers many of the internal organs of the body. It is usually caused by exposure to asbestos. (from wikipedia.org) 


If you may not know, I had an aunt who had a battle with breast cancer a couple of years ago and I think sharing this post will make me remember good memories of her since my aunt also had the same sentiments about natural beauty. 

Natural beauty is the best beauty. There are few things that can compare to the natural beauty of a woman. A woman who allows her natural beauty to shine through rather than covering it up with makeup and enhancements make her more attractive to the outside world. Beauty, though sometimes perceived as vanity, is something that everyone is attuned to, whether they think they are or not. Beauty is the basis for so many things and so many feelings; women newly diagnosed with cancer tend not to care much for beauty must still utilize the way it makes them feel to boost their confidence and power. 

Beauty is, in fact, power. When a woman puts on an outfit or a great shade of lipstick, she automatically feels more beautiful. With that feeling of beauty comes a feeling of great confidence. When a woman has great confidence she feels powerful. When a woman feels powerful, she feels there is nothing she cannot do and nothing will stand in her way of achieving everything she wants. It is a simple fact, and a simple feeling. When a woman feels beautiful, she is at her best. 

There are plenty of times in a woman’s life when she needs to feel her most gorgeous; one of the most important times a woman needs to feel beautiful, confident and powerful is when she is diagnosed with cancer, such as mesothelioma cancer. Being diagnosed with cancer and given her prognosis is enough to severely shake a woman’s confidence and make her feel the complete opposite of powerful; she probably won’t feel very beautiful after that, either. However, there is no time in a woman’s life when she needs these feelings quite as much. Facing an adversary such as cancer means that women need to feel confident that they will overcome the disease and powerful enough to overcome it. That’s where feeling beautiful comes in; women automatically feel more confident and more powerful when they feel beautiful. 

Makeup is a great resource for women because it makes them feel more beautiful. Women feel that makeup hides their self-perceived flaws from the world, which is exactly what they need when they are faced with a mesothelioma cancer prognosis. The best makeup for women to use in this situation is natural, organic and mineral makeup. Organic and mineral makeup is made from all natural resources found in nature; it contains no harsh chemicals. This means that it is better for the world and better for women’s skin. Not only will mineral makeup make a woman feel more beautiful, it will actually work with her skin to make her more naturally beautiful because of the natural ingredients it is made of; there is no better way to feel more beautiful.
